Our Challenge

This project was constructed to be an entertaining hub, while working around an important drainage feature. The customer originally requested a pergola close to the house, but through the design planning, an ideal location situated beyond the drainage feature, tucked into naturalized wooded area was found. This allowed the use of a stone bridge into the existing trees, where the use of heavy timbers, casual stone, fire and water further enhanced the space.

Project Features.

  • Patios feature natural jumbo flagstone
  • Native, low-maintenance plantings
  • Hydropool hot tub with wrapping stone steps
  • Gas firebowl with variable flame heights
  • Extensive LED night lighting
  • Seasonal dry creek bed for drainage
  • Custom architectural metal hardware
  • Heavy barn-timber pergola
