Our Challenge
High water levels put this homeowner's property at risk of significant erosion. Elevating the terrain, protecting the shore, and creating a lovely park setting with paths, seating areas and naturalized planting gets everything back under control.
With over 5.5 feet of water fluctuation over the regular Lake Huron cycles, managing erosion is a very important part of our projects. This work is ideally completed when water levels are low. Next time the high water levels and ensuing storm surges return to this property, there are no worries!
