Our Challenge
This project is designed as a casual lakeside hangout featuring an elevated overlooking deck patio. Constructing a system to allow variations in grade between frost-protected deck and floating interlock pad was achieved by an adjustable connection at this transition point, eliminating the risk of potential irreparable grade differential. A tiered armour stone retaining wall allows raising the patio flush to deck for seamless integration and maximum views out to Georgian Bay.
